A referral or campaign wasn't credited

Why a lead didn't link to a referrer or campaign.

What it is

Credit is set once, when the contact is first created, from the link they arrived on.

When to use it

• A referred client shows no referrer.

How to do it

1. Check they used the full link including ?ref= or utm tags.
2. If they were already a contact, the original source is kept on purpose.
3. Links older than 90 days in their browser expire.
4. Revoked referral links don't credit new leads.
