VAT registration and VAT on documents

Turn VAT on or off across proposals, estimates and invoices.

What it is

If you are not VAT registered, one tick box removes VAT from every document automatically.

When to use it

• Setting up your company.
• You become (or stop being) VAT registered.

How to do it

1. Settings → Company.
2. Tick or untick 'VAT registered' and enter your VAT number if registered.
3. Save. New documents follow the setting; totals recalculate automatically.
